
Our Free Delivery offer ONLY applies to Standard UK mainland. Non Standard or other delivery destinations such as Scottish Highlands, will be subject to a delivery surcharge. (Please ask for further details)
Deliveries are handled by our specialist fragile goods transport firm and are fully insured. Delivery is usually made within 10 working days from receipt of payment. Upon collection of your product from our suppliers, the transport company will contact you by phone, in advance, to notify you of their intended delivery date (please note, that we are not always able to notify customers of delivery dates when items are despatched directly from manufacturers or distributors). Each area is covered on a regular basis, usually on the same day each week. If you request it, the driver is also able to call you an hour before arrival. Upon delivery, the product will be checked for damages that may have occurred during transit in your presence, by the couriers, and signed for as proof of your approval. In the unlikely event that the product has sustained damage, it will be returned to us at no extra charge to yourself, and a replacement will be promptly despatched.
The deliveries are two-person deliveries, and are made to a ground floor entrance area only. We regret that we are not able to deliver items further within your premises as our delivery partners may not be covered by insurance. We ask that you make your own arrangements for moving items within your own premises. Delivery of parcels up or down steps is undertaken solely at the delivery driver’s discretion, in accordance with the delivery company’s health and safety policy and training. Deliveries to flats/apartments will be made to a ground floor lobby only.
We do not currently offer delivery to destinations beyond the UK (nor do we currently offer delivery to the Channel Islands, Isle of Man, or Northern Ireland)
For security, a valid signature is required to acknowledge receipt of all parcels.
If you would like to have you product delivered to an address other than the cardholder address, such as to a workplace or neighbour, please submit the required details into the “delivery details (if different)” form at the checkout. To assist with on-line security, we request that customers using this option supply a current land line phone number for both the cardholder and delivery addresses. If the delivery address information is different to the cardholder address and appears to us to be unsubstantial, we may reserve the right to restrict delivery to the cardholder address only.
If the delivery is unsuccessful, the courier will leave a note showing the date and time of the delivery attempt. The note will also show the courier’s contact details and a consignment tracking number. The courier will attempt a second delivery free of charge – often on the following day. If you are likely to be unavailable for a second delivery attempt, or would like to arrange when a second attempt is made, we advise you to contact the delivery company directly as it may be possible to arrange this. If a second delivery attempt is unsuccessful, the courier will try to contact you by phone and hold the parcel at your local depot for up to 3 days where it will be available for collection. At the discretion of the delivery company, It may be possible to arrange a third delivery attempt. If, after this time, the parcel has still not been delivered it will be returned to PremiumHomeMirrors.com. If non-delivered parcels need to be re-despatched from PremiumHomeMirrors.com then delivery charges will apply, please see our terms and conditions.
If you are not able to receive your delivery in the usual way, we may be able to arrange for parcels to be left without a signature in a nominated “safe place”. All parcels left in a nominated “safe place” will be accompanied by a delivery confirmation card posted through the letterbox. We require written authorisation from the cardholder by fax, email or regular mail before instructing our courier to leave parcels without obtaining a signature.
